What's better than Vegas?? NashVegas! That is how one fellow visitor described Nashville when we were there and he was pretty dead on. Nashville has all the awesome hospitality, history and charm of the south with the crazy partying of Vegas...plus there is an awesome music scene! Luckily, I am friends with awesome girls who love to have a little adventure so we converged in Nashville for Lys' bachelorette party back in July and explored everything the city had to offer. My flight landed a little later than everyone else's so I quickly dropped my stuff off and headed out to meet the girls along Broadway. We had a live music filled night starting at Tootsies, then at the Silver Dollar Saloon and finally wrapping things up at Honky Tonk Central- it was the perfect introduction to Nashville.
Day two started with a booze filled sing-a-long on the Music City Rollin Jamboree - they took us all around Nashville showing us the highlights while hosting an awesome sing-a-long of country classics. Then we headed over to be on the radio- The Highway on Sirus XM y'all- before getting dolled up to go to the Grand Ole Opry! We did the backstage tour after the show and it was so cool to see behind the scenes- especially the gorgeous dressing rooms.
Our final day in Nashville started with a tour of the Ryman- a place I had never heard of before which is crazy because it has so much country music history. The Opry was at the Ryman for years before moving to its current location and some incredible artists have graced that stage- one of the highlights of the trip for me was this tour. After the Ryman, we checked out the Country Music Hall of Fame and Hatch Show Print before dinner at The Pharmacy- an awesome beer garden with incredible food, definitely my favorite meal of the trip! After stuffing our faces with delicious beer and burgers, we headed to the Wildhorse Saloon to line dance the night away- perfect end to our country music adventure! Love all these girls- now where should we go next??
Great photos & comments! Made me want to visit Nashville!
